Impact-resistant windows and doors are often simply called impact windows and doors. They combine heavy-duty frames with impact-resistant laminated glass and a special silicone glazing process to keep the glass from breaking away from its frame. Impact-resistant glass is comprised of two panes of glass bonded together with a special interlayer of clear polyvinylbutyral. Although wind-borne debris or an attempted break in may crack the glass on impact, the interlayer keeps the overall window and door intact, preventing destructive winds or intruders from entering your home. Single-Hung Windows allow ventilation through a single operable lower sash that slides up and down.
Double Hung Windows have two operating sash that move up and down allowing for ventilation on the top, bottom or both.
Horizontal Rolling Windows have a single sash that slides horizontally to allow for full top to bottom ventilation.
Architectural Windows can be used alone to maximize a view or combined with other windows to create large combinations.
Casement Windows are hinged on the right or left and allow for full ventilation.

STH windows, replaced an oversized window in a bedroom that was always too hot or too cold. Owner Rocky was very attentive and kept us abreast of timeline and when window was ready. Install was quick and they even remediated rotten wood around opening the same day Vs having us do this and coming back. Made replacing my 1950s window a good experience and we will def use them again. Thank you Rocky and Justin!

We received a referral for STH Windows and Doors from Facebook. I would highly recommend! Their communication is impeccable and they are extremely timely. Although our door was on back order because of Covid-19, they kept us informed the entire way! Brooks, one of the owners, did our estimate and installation; he is so approachable and willing to answer any kind of question. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we weren't told we needed to buy our own trim kit because our door didn't come with one. Not their fault... I just wish we were informed. Other than that THEY ARE FANTASTIC!!
